Catherine Cogliandro Alioto is a classically trained chef, recipe developer, and culinary instructor. She studied at Tante Marie’s Cooking School in San Francisco and l’École Lenôtre in Paris. Catherine has worked with several of the Bay Area’s most respected restaurants and food companies, and her work has appeared in publications including Sunset Books, Health Magazine, Better Homes and Gardens Books, Fine Cooking, and Chronicle Books.

Tapas España is her first cookbook.

A fourth-generation San Franciscan, Catherine enjoys exploring Northern California’s markets and restaurants and cooking for family and friends.

She currently lives in San Francisco with her husband, and enjoys frequent visits with her three grown children.
